Hi Robest,

I like the puppy very much. Nice front and rear and lovely straight through front with good forehand. Head looks good.

This is a very smart young dog. He has lovely prescence. His front and rear angulation are good. He has lovely bone and feet and his head also looks to be good with nice dark eye.

I find him too long in loin but fotunately his topline is excellent and he will, possibly, grow into that length if his legs get a little longer to balance. I think He has a lot of potential.

Hi Robest,

I judge Dobermans (and other breeds) here in the US and have been a breeder for about 30+ years.

The photos of your puppy look very nice. Probably the biggest fault I see is it appears he has a straight upper arm...but so do many of the Dobes in the ring today. He does not appear to have a lot of depth of brisket. But this is usually the age they start loosing it and hopefully it will come back as he ages. He has a very pleasing head with a beautiful neck, nice forechest, exceptional feet for his age. His topline and tailset are excellent. It looks like he has a very nice rear with just the right amount of bend of stifle. He appears to have a great showy temperament which will take him a long way in the ring. All and all I would say if he continues to mature you should have a Ch. our of this boy. How is his coat condition? In the photos it does not look as good as it should but sometimes photos can be deceiving. The 2nd photo is the best photo of him.

Hi Robest,

I looked at the photos of your puppy, and I think he has many
promising qualities. He appears to have nice bone, good feet, and he
has a smooth transition of his neck into his shoulders. He has a
lovely long neck too.

The main thing I would like to see different on him is a shorter
loin. He seems to carry his length there, and I would be curious to
see how his topline holds when he moves.

His croup and tail set look nice. He has a lot of rear angles, but I
would suspect he will lose some of those as he matures, and become a
bit more balanced. The angles in his front end look nice, and he has
ample forechest.

What is his breeding?

Also, his coat looks a little thin. You might try adding some fish
oil and raw eggs to his diet to help the coat. Vitamin C and E are
also good.

Good luck with him. I'm sure he will do well.

Hi Robest,

He looks like a very nice young dog. Does he have Repo Man behind
him? Strong topline, dark eye, good planes (head), (going from
memory here). He is very smooth and all of one piece. I'd like to
see a little more arch in the neck and more parallel hocks. If he
continues to grow as he is now, he should be very competitive. He
would be here, anyway.

Hello Robest.

Pardon for not writing earlier. I believe that Tsunami is a very agreeable male. I believe that it has seemed my dog Wizard. The tiene a very good neck sees it short of body and his later one meets well. I would like that the have a little more of profundity in his box toraxica, in this moment sees it with great light in the elbows. (they are not much given to the body) but this stems also to young age. The dog is very well armed for the age that the tiene and I believe that it is going to finish very well his growth.

Robest,

This is a very nice flashy looking young male. He has a beautiful head, neck and top line all flow into each other beautifully. His feet are nice and tight. I am used to seeing tail up a little more but looks like he has a great tail set also.
Congratulations on your breeding program. I would think he could take you to the winners circle.

He is a very nice puppy, if you can't finish him then you should move to
another country..just kidding..he is very nice..
You could learn to set him up better..

Hello there,

First of all, let me say that your boy has a gorgeous headpiece. He has nice angles in the rear. His topline is a bit difficult to tell if it is downsloped or level, due the extreme way he is stacked in each photo.

The problem(s) I am seeing, and I'm sure many will agree, is in his front assembly. He is very straight and short in his upper arm and has a much to straight shoulder....little to no angle or layback. He has beautiful feet, his attitude seems to be lovely and his ear crop is nice.

The dog would not finish easily here in the states, either. My suggestion would be to get into a line that consistantly produces correct front assemblies.

Please take a look at the attached photo of our latest puppy, Quinn, at 3 mo 10 days of age, who is JUST now 4 months old. He has a close-to-perfect front assembly and this is what we strive for. Equal angles and length on shoulder & upper arm and layin of shoulder. The rear angles are very good and match his front. You have to have the correct length and angles in both front and back for the dog to both move and function properly.

Best of luck in your endeavors in Malaysia. I am somewhat acquainted with Dr Dev there, who is into the Lex Luthor lines. However, we don't breed the same bloodlines as he does.

Hi Robest,

I am Lisa Higham and I own BlackStar Kennels in California. Here
too the dobes are very very competitive. It is lovely to see that all the
countries are breeding such lovely dogs. I have a few imports myself. They
seem to be more refined than our American dogs.
I really like this puppy. If I were to pick at anything i would want a
little more chest and maybe a little better underjaw. These things are not
set in stone however, as this puppy is still very young and the males change
a lot when they grow.

He ha a lovely topline, good rear angulation and a lot of neck but
everything goes together very smoothly. He is very nice. If he can move
just as nice you've got a good pup here and I would keep him. He also has a
lovely expression and i think will mature and be a gorgeous dog.

I have to assume his bite is correct and temperement is good. I don't know
which line you are breeding so some things could be predicted from that but
overall a very nice puppy!

Good Luck to you, welcome to the list and feel free to write anytime!
Sincerely,
Lisa Higham
